Eco toothbrushes for babies
Over 260 million toothbrushes are thrown away each year in the UK alone, and it takes around 1,000 years for a plastic toothbrush to decompose, meaning they will be around for roughly 25 generations, with disastrous consequences for the environment.
Start your little one’s eco journey early with these extra-soft bristle eco baby toothbrushes, crafted with sustainably-grown bamboo, they are BPA free, 100% biodegradable, and vegan. This pack of 4 comes packed in eco-friendly, recyclable packaging to ensure a completely plastic-free product.
These earth-friendly toothbrushes are our flagship product
At Wild and Stone, our business was first formed on our range of bamboo toothbrushes – which we realised could make a massive difference to the health of our planet. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable products on earth, thanks to the fact that bamboo is a fast-growing plant. When these baby bamboo toothbrushes reach the end of their life, they can either be recycled or composted – returning to the earth.
Baby Bamboo Toothbrushes are one of the most popular ranges that we supply online, is a fantastic way to introduce your child to the world of environmentally friendly bamboo products. These eco baby toothbrushes have extra-soft bristles, and different colours to ensure they are never mixed up.
The bristles used on the toothbrushes are also vegan and BPA Free – meaning that they are kinder to baby’s teeth than traditional plastic bristles.

FSC certified MOSO bamboo, toxin free paint and DuPont Nylon Bristles. Whilst we would love to use biodegradable bristles, the only truly effective plastic free bristle option available right now is boar bristles which is not an option for us as it is not vegan. We continue to research biodegradable bristle options but until a viable option becomes available we will continue to use DuPont Nylon bristles so as not to compromise our customers’ oral health.
Bamboo is a natural product and if it is not kept dry it can develop mould. This is important in bathrooms where it can get warm and steamy. Once your toothbrush has reached the end of its life, pull the bristles out with pliers and compost handle. As it is possible to pull bristles out with force, we do not recommend this product for babies who chew their toothbrushes as bristle shedding may occur. Dentists recommend changing toothbrushes every 3 months
